Youth Ministry

Mission Lutheran youth group gathered outdoors at sunset overlooking the city

Our mission is to raise the future church in relationship and knowledge of Christ and in relation with the church community. We believe youth are the church. We strive to provide:

  • A foundation of faith rooted in Biblical truth
  • An environment where identity in Christ is formed and discipleship and leadership is fostered
  • An engaging place where honesty, faith and fun can instill growth and a meaningful relationship with Christ

Confirmation

Confirmation is a faith-filled journey for middle school students in grades 6–8 at Mission Lutheran Church. Through Bible study, discussion, service opportunities, fellowship, and fun activities, students grow in their understanding of God, their faith, and what it means to live as a follower of Christ. Confirmation is a place where students can ask questions, build relationships, and grow together in faith. Confirmation students meet Sundays at 10:00 AM.

High School Ministry

High school is full of big questions, big decisions, and sometimes a lot of pressure. This year, we’re creating a space to talk about the things that actually matter: faith, friendships, identity, stress, doubt, purpose, and the questions we don’t always feel comfortable asking. We’ll meet twice a month for honest conversations, Bible study, fun, and time together as we explore faith in real life. Each gathering will be part of a mini-series focused on a real question high schoolers face. High school students will meet Sundays at 10:00 AM.
