Lent 2025
This year Mission Lutheran will not have our usual soup suppers and Lenten service on Wednesday evenings.
We are hoping everyone will participate in our opportunities to GIVE BACK during Lent this year. Here are some opportunities we have for you:
Providing a meal for delivery to some members of our congregation on Wednesday evenings. Here’s what is needed:
- Make soup (to be delivered) to serve 10 people
- Make a dessert
- Delivery prep (portioning things out for delivery)
- Soup delivery
Visiting some of our members who can’t make it to Mission Lutheran
Service opportunities in our community
- March 11, 8:30-11:30am: Second Harvest Food Bank, 8014 Marine Way, Irvine
- March 18, 2:00-4:00pm: Orange County Rescue Mission (Food prep), 1 Hope Dr, Tustin
- March 18, 4:30-6:30pm: Orange County Rescue Mission (Food serving), 1 Hope Dr, Tustin
- March 26, 3:00-4:30pm: South County Outreach, 7 Whatney Suite B, Irvine
