Dear parents, uncles, aunts, and grandparents,
Did you ever think of First Communion for the younger faith warriors in your family? Now you’ll have the opportunity! During April the students at Sunday School learned about everything that might be related to the Eucharist and how Jesus broke the bread and shared the cup with his friends. They learned how the first Christians celebrated and why we are doing what we are doing on Sunday mornings. This is a great foundation to take Communion for the very first time at worship! However, if you feel your child, niece/nephew, grandchild is ready, just join the 2024 group by calling Sarah at 956-639-4104. The celebration will be on Mother’s Day, May 12, 2024 at 9:00 am. Rehearsal will be on Sunday, April 28 after the 9:00am service!
