Miscellaneous Ministries

OK.com

OK.com is the Older Kids Club of Mission, a seniors group open to adults 60 and older…or younger. We join together for fellowship, study, service, and fun, with a goal of staying active, connected, and spiritually grounded. Meetings are the second Monday of each month in Mission Hall at 11:30 am.

Senior Exercise

Our senior exercise class involves gentle stretching, strength exercises and an emphasis on improving balance.  We meet on Mondays and Thursdays from 10:00 – 11:00 in the Music Room.  The sessions are free and weights are provided.

Lydia Circle

Lydia Circle is an auxiliary of WELCA (Women of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America) that meets monthly for Bible study utilizing the magazine, Gather.  Besides the Bible study and articles that relate the study to our every day lives, Gather keeps us informed of the many projects we support at home and abroad through our membership.  Most of these involve women and children’s ministries in third world countries and in the United States.  If you have any questions about Lydia Circle, please contact the church office.

Small Groups

Small groups give members opportunities to get to know each other on a more personal basis. They help us build relationships as we study the Bible, discuss our ideas, or enjoy fellowship with one another.  The smaller setting provides a safe haven to share the everyday events, the tough times and the joys of life.Small groups can be organized around many things, from life stages to interests. So, whatever your age, interests or needs, we may have a small group that is just right for you.  For more information about any of these groups, please contact the church office.

Men Of Mission

Men of Mission meets on the 2nd Saturday of every month in the upstairs Conference Room #203 to discuss issues pertinent to today’s Christian male and the Church. Each year, Men of Mission holds a rummage sale that is open to the community and where the proceeds go to help a specific ministry at Mission. This year they netted $2,100! Last year’s proceeds helped to buy a new van for the church and youth. Thanks to Men of Mission!
